Anne M. Plichta

Milwaukee

Anne advocates for both corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of civil matters in state and federal courts. She is licensed to practice in both Wisconsin and Illinois and is admitted to the bars for the Eastern District of Wisconsin and Northern District of Illinois.

Anne works with clients to identify their unique needs and circumstances and tailor an approach to resolve their concerns in the most efficient, least distracting manner possible.

Prior to joining Mallery & Zimmerman, Anne was associated with a national law firm where she focused on general commercial litigation (including complex and appellate practice), UCC/contract disputes, and media and defamation law.  She later became a partner in a boutique firm, expanding her practice to include construction/real estate, insurance, probate, and shareholder/partnership litigation.

In addition to her litigation practice, Anne has developed an interest in the use of alternative dispute resolution where appropriate as an efficient alternative to traditional litigation. In 2013, Anne became a certified mediator following training at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, allowing her to provide her clients with greater perspective in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
