CJ concentrates his practice on employment and labor law. CJ’s practice includes advising businesses on employment matters and representing business clients in employment litigation and arbitration.
Prior to joining Mallery & Zimmerman, CJ served as a judicial intern to Judge Diane Sykes, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, where he researched and prepared bench memoranda. CJ was also a research assistant to Dean Joseph Kearney at Marquette University Law School, where he conducted physical and electronic archival research regarding riparian rights, the public trust doctrine and the Chicago lakefront. Additionally, CJ worked as a law clerk with the in-house legal department of a multinational corporation based in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and he subsequently worked as a law clerk in the Milwaukee office of a national law firm.
