Jon has more than 20 years of experience representing clients in a wide-range of commercial real estate, finance and business matters. Jon regularly acts as counsel to financial institutions and other lenders in connection with business and commercial real estate loan transactions. He also represents clients in negotiating and structuring debt and equity transactions utilizing a mix of traditional and non-traditional funding vehicles, including tax incremental financing, historic tax credits, new market tax credits, disaster relief bonds, HUD guaranteed financing, immigrant investor (EB-5) financing, property assessed clean energy (PACE) program financing and mezzanine and subordinated debt.
Over the last 10 years, Jon has developed significant experience in the hospitality industry representing developers and owners of hotels both locally and nationally on issues ranging from purchase, sale, franchising, development, construction, financing, management and operation.
Jon believes the primary role of an attorney is to provide sound and practical legal advice so that clients are in the best position to make business decisions and achieve their goals and objectives. For Jon, the most satisfying aspect of practicing law is when a client views him as a trusted advisor and part of their team.
