Steve Schinker offers strategic estate and business planning focused on satisfying the needs and successful outcomes of privately held and family-owned businesses. He is licensed to practice law in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, and Wisconsin with proven proficiency in Mergers/Acquisitions, Environmental, Commercial Real Estate, Construction, and Dispute Resolution. Steve has extensive experience negotiating and drafting contracts in a variety of settings such as technology, construction, procurement/logistics, sales, and sports/entertainment.

Steve provides clients more than twenty-five years of litigation and transactional experience, including private practice, senior executive and in-house corporate law perspectives empowering individuals and businesses with proactive, practical solutions. He assists clients by actively listening and seeing the big picture while focusing on the nuances and details of a transaction or negotiation. Prior to joining Mallery & Zimmerman, Steve served as Chief Legal and Strategy Officer, as well as General Counsel for a variety of family-owned businesses including manufacturers with a global reach and a real estate development company.

Steve earned a J.D. with Distinction from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and an LL.M. in Environmental Law from Pace University School of Law. He is recognized by Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation as a certified Advanced Negotiation Master.
